About this wood

Originally acquired as a row of mature beech trees these were felled for safety reasons in Spring 2005. The site is no more then 10m wide and is effectively a verge with stumps alongside an extremely busy road. There is no public access and no defined point of management access. Provision of public access would be both impractical and dangerous at this tiny site. There is only property close by and there are no pavements along this road.
