About this wood

Bere Alston Woods is made up of Cleaveland wood, Bere Alston and Bere Ferrers Copses which due to their location, area designations and management needs have been grouped together into a single management unit. Each is relatively small but standing as they do within the Devon section of the Tamar Valley AONB each makes an important contribution to the local landscape. Having very limited internal access and no public footpaths they unfortunately do not offer much recreational value to the area.
