When a picture is worth a thousand words...
The Woodland Trust Photo Library holds over 25,000 images, many of them high-quality pictures suitable for publishing and other media purposes.
Predominantly images of woodland and wildlife, many are supplied by our enthusiastic volunteer photographers, whilst others are specially commissioned to demonstrate particular aspects of the Trust's work.
Our excellent collection consists of a diverse range of images - various landscapes including woodlands, forests and heathland; ancient trees; saplings; flora; wildlife species; seasonal images; threats to woodland; people enjoying the outdoors and much more.
Conveying the true beauty of woodlands and our environment, they help paint a picture of the Trust's activities and can really make a story, often showing what words just cannot describe.
