Pioneer Wood
Pioneer Wood at Scawton near Helmsley in North Yorkshire is the first site to be newly planted and could be your first step to owning your own wood. 

The site covers just over 20 acres of the beautiful North York Moors National Park with splendid views across the surrounding countryside. The area has been planted with a mixture of native trees and shrubs, but the design also includes rides, walkways and interesting natural features.

The land is situated close to the A170 midway between Helmsley and Thirsk.

The Woodland Trust has over 25 years of experience  in creating new woodland; and we have used this expertise to design the woodland at Pioneer Wood.
