Applications to receive a free community tree planting pack to plant in spring and autumn 2011 are open now.

 

Packs are available in two sizes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

420 trees create a long hedge (approx 92m), or divide up and plant at different sites. If planted as a block of trees, there is sufficient for approximately one acre of land. Trees are supplied as young whips about 30 - 40 cm high. This pack comes complete with canes and protective spirals


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

105 trees for planting either in small groups or as a hedge (approx 23m). Trees are supplied as young whips about 30 - 40 cm high. Tree protection is not included

Dates to remember...

Applications for Spring packs close Wednesday 2nd February.

Groups will be notified if they have been successful the w/c 7th February.

The packs will be delivered to successful groups w/c 7th March.

 

How can I ensure my application is successful?

To be eligible for a free pack:

  • • The trees must be planted by a local community group on land that everyone in your area can enjoy and benefit from
  • • Applicants need to ensure that the community tree planting event is an open invite wherever possible so local people can take part
  • Permission from the landowner must be obtained before applying for free trees. We will not approve applications where permission is not provided
