Get ready for your trees!

Congratulations on receiving a Woodland Trust community tree pack. Here you can find tips and advice that will help you make your planting day a success. Good luck and happy planting! 


Delivery:

Pack of 105 community trees

 

For ease of transportation, your pack of 105 trees will arrive in one box. Please remember that we do not include tree protection. If rabbits are present at your planting site, you will need spirals or tubes to protect your trees. Your local tree warden or garden centre may be able to help, or you can buy canes & spirals from our online shop.

 

 

Pack of 420 community trees

 

If you have ordered the 420 tree pack, your trees will be delivered in two boxes, with an additional brown box of 250 spirals, a bag of 170 spirals and a white bundle of canes.

 

 

Storage:

  • Leave them in the bags in which they were bought until you need them.
  • Keep them cool and moist before planting – store them in cool surroundings out of sunlight such as a shed or garage, spray the roots with a fine mist spray of water if they appear dry.
  • Keep out of frost.
  • Avoid dropping the bags or dropping things on the bags – root damage will severely limit growth.
