Wild harvest - community tree planting pack

Grow native fruits, nuts and berries to make delicious delicacies to eat and enjoy!

Rosehips planted as a hedge. WTPL / RBeck
Our wild harvest community tree planting pack contains species which are ideal for making traditional treats and drinks such as crab apple jelly or rose hip oil. These trees will also help attract native wildlife to your local area, and provide a beautiful display of colour for you to enjoy thoughout the year.

Which size of pack to choose?

If you apply for the 105 tree pack, it can be planted as a large copse (covering about a quarter of an acre), or a double hedge of roughly 30m (planting in a zig-zag formation)

The 420 tree pack is ideal for planting as a small woodland on roughly an acre of land. Alternatively, you could create approximately 120m of hedging (roughly 150 strides).

If you are struggling for land, try planting the trees as small copses, hedges and individual trees across the shared spaces in your area. Trees here and there can make a big difference to how your neighbourhood looks and how people feel about it.

Native trees included in this pack are:
Hazel, blackthorn, crab apple, elder, cherry plum and dog rose.
Species may change subject to demand.

Please note: The tree species in this pack will not create a traditional community orchard. Trees supplied are native saplings between 20-40cm in height. If you are interested in traditional fruit trees, please see our pages on community orchards.
