Community tree planting packs

Community tree planting event

Woodland Trust community tree packs are designed to help groups to plant more trees, hedges and copses in their local shared spaces - by a church, community centre or playground for example, or on patches of land that are currently unused. Packs can be separated and planted in small copses to best fit the public areas in your neighbourhood.

Native trees provide welcome shade and shelter, can help screen developments, improve air quality and even help alleviate flooding and increase house prices!

In just 10 years, trees planted today will be well above head-height. With so many benefits for both people and wildlife, why not think about spaces available in your local area?

We have 1,000 free tree packs available for groups to apply for this autumn, and more for 2012.
Tree packs are available in two different sizes:
  • 105 trees - ideal for planting as a hedge or copse
  • 420 trees - ideal for planting on roughly an acre of land.
