Over time trees bring an enormous amount of good to wildlife, people and the environment. And in just a few short years as they live, grow and develop, these benefits multiply.

If you have land available to plant your own trees there is a wide range of ways the Woodland Trust can help.

• For larger schemes a team of expert advisers will visit your site to offer advice, for example on how to access funding and which trees to choose.

• For smaller projects we work in partnership with landowners, supplying expertise and in some cases sharing the costs through our MOREwoods scheme.

• For schools and community groups we can provide free packs of trees.

• For gardens you can buy a wide range of tree species from nativetreeshop.com

If you can’t plant your own trees, you can still help with the campaign. We need to raise £6.7m over the next 18 months.

A donation of as little as £10 enables us to plant four trees, £50 provides a free tree pack to a school and £150 pays for a larger pack so a whole community can start their own wood.
