What support is available?
If you have a hectare of land available for planting, we can help with every stage of the process - from site design and finding the right funding source, to planting and maintenance.
A new woodland can be more affordable than you think. Depending on your planting site, we can work with you to access Forestry Commission funding. Alternatively, our MOREwoods scheme can provide up to 60% of the costs, helping create vital new habitat for wildlife and a special space for you to enjoy for years to come.

Trees and woods can enhance your land
Planting trees and woods offers an alternative use for unproductive or difficult-to-manage land, bringing you a host of additional benefits:
- Wildlife: Woodland is one of our richest habitats. Planting trees supports biodiversity, linking existing habitats together and providing food and shelter.
- Firewood: Beat rising energy costs by producing 3 tonnes of firewood per hectare per year. Sheltering buildings can reduce heating costs by 40%.
