Before you apply...

 

Understandably you want to take advantage of our fantastic offer of a free community tree pack but can you answer yes to each of these questions? 

If you can answer yes to the following questions click on ‘apply’ below.

 

 

Will the trees be planted by a community group or school on land that everyone in your area can enjoy and benefit from (not private gardens or land with no public benefit)?

 

Have you asked for the landowner’s permission before applying?
 
Do you have a grid reference or postcode to help identify your planting site? Find out how to find a grid reference
 
Has your community or school been consulted? Your community or school must be supportive of your project before you apply.
 
Trees for schools Are you a school applying for a small pack of 60 saplings? Apply here>>

Autumn 2012 packs – The closing date is 23:59 on 31st July 2012, however due to the popularity of community tree packs as a fantastic way to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee we may have to close earlier than this.

Applicants will be contacted with a decision in September-October, with deliveries commencing week of 5th November.

Orkney Schools and Communities:

We are working in partnership with the Orkney Woodland Project to promote woodland creation in the Orkneys.

Orkney schools, community groups and youth groups should contact Jenny Taylor at the Orkney Woodland Project to request free tree packs, as well as planting advice and support.
