The review of the public forest estate in England

The Government's plans to sell off the public forest estate in England have been abandoned (for now?)

An Independent Panel on Forestry has now been established. It will look at at the future of public forests, as well as nearly every aspect of forestry in England.

The Final Report is here! Here's our reaction

Our campaign continues!

We must increase and enhance protection for ancient and vulnerable forests, our equivalent to the tropical rainforest.

We must restore damaged ancient woods, to make the very best out of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity this offers for woodland conservation.

Our petition is still live

Demonstrating the body of support there is for our call, and backing our lobbying and policy work that will continue in this debate.

Over 165,000 people have signed it so far... will you?

Please take action today!
