Suffolk

Suffolk’s woodland figures all in the red.

Woodland cover in Suffolk is slightly lower than the national average (9.4% compared to 10%), with just 8.1% of the population having access to a wood close to home.

Worse, two precious ancient woods have come under threat in the last 10 years from development – one of which has already been lost or damaged. Action is needed.
