Cornwall

The number of people in Cornwall who can visit a wood near their home is among the lowest in England.

The percentage of Cornish people who have a wood they can visit within walking distance of their home is just 7.6% - that's half the national average.

What’s more, with five ancient woods having come under threat in the last 10 years – one of which has already been lost or damaged – action is needed.
