For over 10 years the Woodland Trust has been involved in advocacy and lobbying work on behalf of the UK's native woods and trees.

Our campaigns have made a measurable difference to the UK's native woodland... and we have tackled them all with the help of supporters like you.

Why do we campaign?

We work in a wide range of areas - from influencing national policy to fighting against ancient woodland loss from development; from supporting a modern public forest estate to extolling the benefits of tree planting to Government.
