About Nature's Calendar

When were the first snowdrops spotted this year?

When do cuckoos first sing their familiar song and horse chestnuts shed their leaves?

Nature's Calendar is the home for thousands of volunteers who record the signs of the seasons.

You don't have to be an expert to take part as we give you all the help you could need.

As well as entering your own signs of the seasons you can see the data others have entered.

Our live interactive maps show the information as it comes in - with spring and autumn sweeping across the UK.

This data becomes a crucial source of evidence as to how our wildlife is responding to climate change.
