Ancient Tree HuntA project with aimed to record the location of around 100,000 ancient trees across the UK. This project ran until 2010. Tree For All A campaign that aimed to engage 2 million children in planting 12 million trees to help create new native woods. Back on the MapA project which aimed to create an inventory of ancient woodland in Northern Ireland - to help us protect it. Branching Out West Lothian A three year project to encourage more people in West Lothian to get out and enjoy their local woodland and in particular to work with local schools to inspire and educate children about woodland. Conservation Land Trust A conduit for people who want to buy woodland to manage for conservation and those who have woodland to sell for this purpose. Woods on your DoorstepA project that involved creating over 150 new woods across the UK in order to celebrate the Millennium in 2000. Trafalgar WoodsTo celebrate the 200th centenary of the Battle of Trafalgar, we created 33 woods across the UK. Our very own Victory Wood was one of these. |
