Woodland Trust Photo Library

The Woodland Trust Photo Library (WTPL) contains thousands of woodland, wildlife and nature based images taken by professional photographers, staff and volunteers.

Most of these images have been taken in our own woods located throughout the UK and are used in a variety of ways:

  • Trust leaflets, publications, promotional material and products produced by the Trust.
  • Trust web site and presentation material.
  • National & local media, corporate partners or third party organisations working with the Trust.

Throughout the Trust, our staff use images on a daily basis to promote and publicise our work, because as the old adage goes "a picture says a thousand words" and a good image can really help get the message across!

Our first images were provided our founder, Kenneth Watkins, who was a keen nature & wildlife photographer. Since then we have added images to our stock through professional photographer commissions and last but not least through our dedicated team of volunteer photographers.
