A key part of how the Trust operates today is working in partnership with other people and particularly with other organisations.
By collaborating with other companies we can achieve more than we would otherwise, towards the protecting and conservation of UK woodland.
Our current partners include other landowners - such as the Forestry Commission and National Park Authories who are working with us to restore woodland and improve woodland biodiversity - and other charities, such as Landlife who are assisting us with an innovative new method of woodland creation through the Forest of flowers project, and the Scout Association, who joined us recently to celebrate their centenary and helped us create 100 new woods as part of our Scouts for Trees project.
Other projeect partners include the Ancient Tree Forum, who are a key part of the success of our Ancient Tree Hunt and the many local authorites, government agencies, small businesses and other organisations, who've supported our projects such as Tree For All. And, then there are the many schools and other youth groups, who've joined us at tree planting events.
Not forgetting our many funders, such as corporate supporters who not only provide vital funding towards our work, but also raise greater awareness of our work and influence positive environmental change from their staff, customers and suppliers. Plus, the grant-giving bodies, charitable trusts and landfill tax operators, who support our work through funding.
And, there are also the contractors, who carry out many of the woodland operations necessary for the management of our woods.
And many, many more...
