In Wales

We acquired our first property in Wales, Coed Lletywalter, in 1980. This is a wonderful 38-hectare (94-acre) ancient woodland site in the Snowdonia National Park, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). This became the first of many; today we own over 100 sites across the length and breadth of Wales.

In 2000, we adopted a new Welsh language name -
'Coed Cadw' - an old Welsh term, used in medieval laws to describe protected or preserved woodland.
