In Scotland

We acquired our first wood in Scotland, Balmacaan Wood overlooking the banks of Loch Ness at Drumnadrochit, in 1984. After this, a £100,000 appeal was launched to help the Trust acquire more woods in Scotland. Today, we own and manage 80 woods covering 8,500 hectares stretching from Sutherland to Stanraer.
