Charitable trusts provide an important source of funding for the Woodland Trust – for example, just under £1 million in 2008. Some donations are towards our work generally, some is given for specific projects. The amounts given last year ranged from £10 - £250,000.
The charitable trusts team welcomes enquiries about our work; we can match the interests of trusts to particular areas of the Woodland Trust’s work and answer questions about how we operate.
Our email address is grants&trusts@woodlandtrust.org.uk or please write to us at The Woodland Trust, Autumn Park, Dysart Road, Grantham, NG31 6LL.
All the trusts that make donations towards our work are very important to us, but we would like to say a special thank you to The Tubney Charitable Trust, which has made it possible for us to buy and begin to restore three nationally important woodland sites, Great Knott Wood in Cumbria, Brede High Woods in East Sussex and Wentwood in Wales.
