Can I plant a tree in a Trust wood?

Each Trust wood is managed carefully and sensitively, and we prefer people not to plant trees in one of our sites, but instead to take their trees at an organised event.

Our Tree For All events page has information about organised tree planting events across the UK.

We are happy for people to bring along trees which they have grown themselves, provided that the species of tree is suitable for the site in question.  More details can be found on our website:
