On 6 November 2017, the 800th anniversary of the influential 1217 Charter of the Forest, we will launch the Charter for Trees, Woods and People. Rooted in more than 60,000 ‘tree stories’ gathered from people of all backgrounds across the UK, the new Tree Charter will recognise, celebrate and protect the right of the UK public to access trees and woods.
We want to make sure that everyone in the UK knows about the Tree Charter. That’s where you come in…
Add your voice to the Thunderclap
We’ve set up a Thunderclap and are looking for hundreds of Charter Champions to spread our message on 6 November. A Thunderclap is a way of amplifying a message and its impact on social media by having lots of people say the same thing at the same time.
By signing up you are allowing one-time access to your social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr – or all three if you have them) to post our launch message. So what are you waiting for?
