Nature restoration must be a priority for new government.

That’s why we’re taking a stand, together with other nature and climate charities, and marching to highlight nature as a key focus for future leaders. The next generation deserves a world where nature is thriving. Where woodlands provide sanctuary for our native wildlife. Where beautiful old trees stand amongst healthy ecosystems, teeming with life.

To celebrate the wonderful woods we care for at the Woodland Trust, we’re taking the trees to London. You’ll find us dressed as trees – and you can be one too. Joining our 'walking wood' can be as simple as wearing brown trousers and a green top!

Together, we can make a difference. March with us through London to demand action from our future leaders on the biodiversity crisis.

The event is free but please do book via the Restore Nature Now website to receive more information.

What to know before the event

We have been involved in the creation and delivery of the Restore Nature Now march, and would like to reassure you that it will be a celebration of nature. Every assurance has been made that the event will be family-friendly, legal and inclusive. We’re keen to represent the range of concerns for communities, climate and wildlife.

Why are we protesting?

The health of the planet is at a critical juncture: ecosystems across the UK are threatened by development and climate change. Without immediate intervention, the consequences could be devastating.

By coming together and demanding action from our government this election year, we can create a future where nature thrives.
